Dr Seuss Discovery

On Friday 8th May, we had a great time doing Dr Seuss activities to finish off our 3 week unit learning all about Dr Seuss" books and some of us even got to go the the musical in town called Seussical. Lots of the South School children and parents were in the musical.

We made all sorts of different things at the Dr Seuss Discovery. Here are some of our efforts.

Bus Safety with Constable Kendrick

Last week Constable Kendrick and Frank the wonderful bus driver from Go Bus, took us for a ride up to Appleton Kindy. We practised getting on and off the bus correctly, carrying our bags in front of us. We were polite and quiet on the bus so we didn't distract the driver.

We also got to practise crossing the road so we could get back on the bus after it had turned around. Now we are going to try and remember all of the safety rules for rising on the bus. We got to see our friends at Appleton kindy while we waited for the bus. :)
