Our New Farm

Today Jarnah and Billie brought their amazing model farm over for us to play with, as they have finished using it for their erosion project.

We are allowed to play with their farm using our farm animals. We are going to be very careful with the farm as the girls have made some special objects and we don't want to break them. They have made a dog kennel, a barn, a bridge, a lawnmower, a sandpit, a garden and heaps of other things.

Our Matariki Discovery Celebration

We had a great time at our Matariki Discovery Celebration. We invited families to share the concert and feast. We made fruit kebabs, kumara chips and cheesies. While the kimara chips were cooking we had a small concert. We had made headbands and puipuis, so we dressed up, sang songs, did stick games and practised the poi. We had a really fun morning to start the Maori New Year. We even had Grandparents along. It was a really special discovery.
