We are learning to be Scientists. We are learning the Scientific method in our Inquiry. We are asking lots of questions, especially "I wonder...." questions. We are using "The Scientific Method" - Asking a question, forming a hypothesis, testing it, gathering evidence and a conclusion.
We have done lots of different experiments, showing the water cycle, testing for dirty surfaces, blowing up balloons with a bottle, vinegar and baking soda, growing fresh and packet capsicum seeds and heaps more. We are discovering lots and asking interesting questions and doing research. One day maybe , we will be real Scientists.
WOW team 1 you are amazing scientists. You must have learnt so much from all those experiments and observations. I cannot wait until you reach year 7 and 8 you will be able to teach me all about how to be a scientist. Keep working hard and asking lots of questions - that is what scientists do.

ReplyDeleteGood on you Room 1. You are already scientists at 5 years old. What a fantastic achievement. I really liked the way you went around all the exhibits and showed so much interest talking and questioning the older kids. Well done.
